Speculation how much power will our new director have?

I think the new director will have a little more leeway than Kirshner did in TESB.

Better effects abilities doesn't mean better effects happen if the director doesn't know how to choreograph a battle anymore.

I've seen some good directors be given unlimited budgets and not know how to use the money (Superman Returns). And we've seen directors be given the sky and do very well (Marvel's The Avengers).

Please don't shoot the messenger but I emailed Supershadow inquiring about the controversy against him and he told me that there's been a long history of a hostile slander campaign against him due to jealousy from Star Wars fandom of his close friendship with George Lucas.

They're also hostile towards him because he was charging money for premium membership to his website that he donating to childrens charities.

He also mentioned that the jealous hostile Star Wars fans were stalking and harrassing his girlfriend's website as well disrupting her internet modeling career.

Those are his words. His side of the story so please don't shoot me. I just wanted to put out his side of the story.

So is it possible that he's just misunderstood?
