Full Series Republic vs Separatists

One of the things that is awesome about "The Deserter" is how dubious it is. You can interpret Rex and Cut's conversations either way and not really be wrong. Umbara still hasn't fully cleared that up since the big scene at the entire last 3rd of "Carnage of Krell" both shows how far broken Rex is from his personal code and how incredible free thinking he is. I think the guy still has Fives beat at this and its only Cut who beats him out. Yet, Rex is still shown to potentially be unable to escape his programming when trying to execute Krell. Now maybe Rex was just overcome with emotion. We'll get there.

I for one think what Rex said was sincere when he said the line Q has in quotes. Rex may not have realized it then. He clearly has a self imposed honor code that isn't some military code of conduct and Rex had gotten more flexible with it over time. Its interesting Rex also says something to the effect of, "I'm part of the most pivotal moment in the history of the republic. If we fail our children and our childrens, children may be forced to live under an evil I can't well imagine." in the same screen.

Rex has already seen some of what he dreads in the Slave arc. Its to bad it wasn't elaborated on.

 

True, true! So far it has been just idk how to explain it... the too obvious evil. We need the EU Dooku evil.

 

This is a great question. I've found myself simply enjoying the ride during the episodes.

If I had to choose, I'd say republic because the heroes I root for reside there.
But there are no winners in this war , only Darkness.

 

Nothing is more fun than rooting for your heroes. I love rooting for Rex and Fives.

Killer shirt! I've only ever seen TCW shirts in little kids sizes... (and was pissed at how cool the designs were since there were no adult sizes...)

I like the Wolfpack one.

 

The Wolfpack one is a cool design, and it reads as a cool wolf logo, even if you have no idea what it's from. Ahsoka's markings are too abstract and if I was walking down the street and passed someone wearing that shirt - as opposed to seeing it in the context of Filoni wearing it - I probably wouldn't even immediately recognize it as an Ahsoka shirt. Never mind those that don't watch the show. It wouldn't read as anything, just random shapes.

 

Ahsoka shirt = do not want.

 

I wonder if he sleeps in the hat...

 

I know someone who screen prints shirts..

I'm giving some serious thought to having one of those Wolfpack shirts made... I have a background similar to the Ahsoka shirt on my phone's lock screen, several people (some who aren't regular viewers) have figured out what it was - and it's not even orange.

I probably should of posted those in the Disco.

The Wolffe shirt is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than the Ahsoka shirt. It has class.

The Ahsoka shirt looks stupid cause the symbol looks stupid.
