A lot of travel will be involved for teams, but it's an interesting idea for sure.

    What a cracker.

Should have been comfortable. Linesman crappy.

Balotelli is really bad. We'd have probably lost if Tevez started.

Team selection, with no Giggs or Scholes, was correct.

    lol @ City

lol @ Nasri. I'm glad he chose City over Utd. He's a perfect fit.

Also it's really annoying how tapatalk adds multiple false pages to every thread. Does that happen to anyone else?

    lol @ ManC

PS Says alot about this forum that the world's greatest player broke Muller's 40 year old record of 85 goals in a calendar year earlier today and not a single one of you mentions it.

PPS Barca tweeted that record breaking Messi led Barca to their 8th straight away win, in case anyone's interested.

It'll get lost in the headlines, but Betis were excellent in that game. It's a pity from their POV they allowed Messi to break the record before really taking the game to Barca.

I think it's more to do with the fact that this thread isn't one tenth of what it used to be. Even in its pomp it was strongly focused on the Premier League. A contest such yesterday's Manchester derby would've provoked lots of discussion. Heck, I would've posted a shedload about Everton coming back from behind as they did. Only... neither of those things happened. In this day and age, when one post from epic and an "lol @ City" from yourself and Richie is the extent of our commentary on a belting derby game... Messi was unlikely to raise a comment. We all know it happened, but none of us can really be bothered to post about it.

    Newcastle lose again.
They need to get some wins in before they lose Ba & Cisse to the African Cup of Nations or they will struggle.

Why Wenger willingly knackered out Cazorla and Wilshere for that, I don't know.

    LOL @ Arsenal

Sunderland manage to win, O'Neil will no doubt be pleased.

Villa doing very well in the CO Cup, yet they seem unable to play well in the league.
