No way this is a bad thing. They've been talking about it maybe being more like 13 episodes since they actually started writing it. So my guess is they just had too much brilliance to contain. Sounds good to me!

But still no word officially on how they'll release it or when. I really, really don't want it all to go up in one day. Because then you have to watch it all at once. It'll be like Tobias prematurely shooting his wad on a dry run.

 

Well considering most fans first watched it by marathoning the whole show on dvd after it was cancelled....

I thought that it was. I'd be more than happy with that.

 

That's what they'd said in their initial press release on it, but there have been reports stating they've reconsidered that a bit. Economically it really makes no sense to release it all at once, as then someone just needs a Netflix free trial to see it all. As opposed to a free trial and at least a month of membership, wherein new users would then have enough time to see what else is on Netflix and decide to keep it, ideally for them.

They may still release it all at once, but they haven't officially decided that or decided on a date.

Don't give them any ideas. I am very much looking forward to taking the day off work and having a marathon of brand spanking new AD.

 

From an episode discussion point of view it would probably be better to release them one by one.

 

I just want to be able to savor them and look forward to watching every week with my friends like I used to.

 

There's nothing stopping you from savoring them, though. If you want to watch one per week, watch one per week. I'll probably crack out and do a marathon.
