We all know about Star Wars and the single biome planets

    http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SingleBiomePlanet

What are some new kinds of planets that could possibly feature in the new tril?

I would like to see a tropical planet myself :)
Other ideas: A garbage planet, a canyon planet, a cement planet, slime planet

I'd like to see a coral planet again... they used it once in TCW.

A graveyard planet? I know there was a graveyard moon in the Corellian trilogy but a planet like that would be interesting I think

Bespin. The actual planet... not the visitors' center hovering above it.

It's where bald faux-comedian primetime television hosts originate from.

A force wielding planet thats fighting industrialization with a native population fighting glactic colonialism. Maybe have James Cameron dirrect...oh wait...already been done;) A jedighost planet, basically a giant lounge with jedi ghosts and sith smoking death sticks together reminiscing about the good old times. But seriously, I'd like to see the planet from Clone Wars with the father son force wielders.

I want to see a planet like Ursa Minor Beta from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, which consists entirely of sub- tropical coastline, and where it is always Saturday afternoon just before the beach bars close. :)

I have always found it strange those that complained that TCW ruined the EU because it changed the sruface of Mandalore from what was in the books. The Essential Atlas retconned this so that the planet encorporated numerous habitat types from lush forest to desert.

We need more planets as diverse as that.

Yeah, I agree. The single-biome planets are cool and all, but IMO the more interesting and beautiful ones are the ones with multiple biomes, like Naboo.

What about a planet that is all treacherous mountain area? Very little ground is flat, great slopes are the landscape. Rock slides are commonplace and the beasts and beings from this planet are all sure-footed types.
