I mean, I know you're all sensitive artist type and whatnot, but just because someone criticizes your opinions or points out that you said something messed up, it's not the end of the world. Your overreaction to being called out on your crap was way worse than anything you said in the first place.

It's also a really common diversion tactic that people in privileged groups use to distract from the fact that they said something misogynistic or racist or whatever, so at least you're not alone.
