also the vanessa hudgens situation was totally different and didn't involve the circumstances that dani took issue with in this thread but whatever.

 

The solojones thread in particular was wildly different, both in the details of what happened and the tone of its presentation. Laughing about potentially pretty bad stuff that censors and viewers alike missed during a locker room interview is a far cry from celebrating a concerted effort by the media to capture someone in a state of undress on film.

Yeah, I actually thought about the Vanessa Hudgens thread yesterday and just hoped no one else remembered

The Vanessa Hudgens situation was a different issue than paparazzi shots, like tom said. The latter of which I find much creepier than leaks of nude photographs that were consensually taken. Still, they're both terrible situations. I've - shockingly enough!- matured and changed as a person over the last 5 years and I wouldn't have posted the thread again being the person I am today, but, yeah I'm willing to own up that I've posted some real dumb things here over the years.

Also, as important as both Vanessa Hudgens' bush and Anne Hathaway's righteous anger are to me, I think we would be remiss if we didn't take a moment to notice that both my VHudge thread (a ripoff of Vin's threads) and my post in this thread were made to rile up Vin. So I think it's pretty clear what my true priorities are.
