    How was HOBS bulldozed?

    Honest question.

HOBS presented Mina Bonteri as a "good guy" of the CIS. The Onderon arc reveals she was supporting an oppressive CIS tyrant who seized power with Separatist assistance while Onderon's rightful ruler insisted on remaining neutral in the war.

    HOW?!

Well, let's start with the fact that they do not explain how everything fits together - what was the whole political situation and interraction between Dendup, Sanjay Rash, Tandin, Lux Bonteri and his mother.

And Mina Bonteri was a senator of Onderon since the war started so they do not explain were Lux and Mina fine with Dendup being overthrown.

The intros also do not indicate the order of events that take place in the War. It is really a mess that they ignored to explain or explore.

In their defense, they only gave themselves four episodes to do so. [face_idea]

That is a lot of time they could have spent in explaining things and doing more interesting stuff with the setting of Onderon.
Not just repeat for two episodes sniping over a 100 times and throwing poppers like a 100000 times.

lol just curious, I have little interest in HOBS so I didn't remember any outright contradictions.

    More honest questions:

Do they actually say Mina supported the CIS tyrant? Rash was his name, yes?

It could be possible that Senators aren't really involved with the things covered in the Onderon arc. They simply represent the planet and whoever rules it.

That is one of the problem - they do not explain what was Mina's stance on Rash.

To me, the omission implies complicity.

Alright, I can definitely see HOBS fans being disappointed with that.

Not being an HOBS fan myself, I didn't notice.

    Thanks for the info.

Have to agree. Especially with all that time to fill.

That's one example of an arc that could have been two episodes.

Two maybe. THREE for sure. If filled with more interesting things...

It's the dining scene, dust, and snake that tick me off - which is about half the episode...for Brothers, anyhow

I felt the Onderon arc fell down because of how little the common people seemed to be involved with a rebellion, no less

"Senate Murders" was awesome simply because of Padme punching Lolo.
So far my least favorite episode is "A Sunny Day in the Void". It was the one time I ever wanted to just skip through an episode.
This thread is reminding me there are a lot of episodes I haven't watched in a while and I've kind of forgotten them.

And all the random "I sense something" scenes. That stuff wasted a good 6 minutes of the episode.

For me, the worst one is the one where Boba Fett gets captured and put in prison. While the episode isn't terrible, there's just something wrong about that that isn't something TCW should do.
I think it's honestly as bad as Darth Maul returning.

(Although the first episode of the current season with Darth Maul wasn't too shabby)
