Looks like we are all waiting for spoilers to be posted and no one is willing to give any!

 

Details are coming, I just cannot help until tuesday.

 

I have just gotten my spoilers, and I CANNOT wait for this to play out on the screen. From the sounds of it, there will be some EPIC fights!

I know. That was my favorite part of the spoilers. And I can't wait to see Sidious use his lightsaber skills. We never see that side of Sidious, so this duel is gonna be awesome.

By the way, has anyone actually read the book yet?

 

Look at the date that thread was created. It was back in July. They are basing those spoilers on the leaked preview that Amazon put up.

Another site which has reviewed and read the book says the ending is a cliffhanger. If the episodes end that way, then you won't get confirmation of Maul's demise. If you don't see it happen then he isn't dead and he'll be back for more either later in S5 or in S6.

This, you dont have a cliff-hanger if the character aint coming back. Maul will definetley return, or they would have made it clear that he was dead, the book dosent.

 

I'm so excited for this arc I want to fall into a deep sleep and cannot be awakened till all episodes have aired and I can immediatey watch all together.

 

Yah, Maul and Savage were pointless. Let's celebrate!

In the palace throne room, Maul & Savage will be discussing plans or something similar etc. when Sidious will walk on. Obviously shocked Maul & Sidious will exchange dialogue with Sidious telling them that they both need to die. They all engage in an epic duel which travels through the palace into the courtyard steps where Sidious is disarmed by Savage, Sidious then takes them both on with one lightsaber. Sidious manages to briefly knock Maul away and overwhelms Savage with his fierce attacks and while distracting him stabs him in the back. Maul runs over to Savage, where Sidious immediately electrocutes him, Maul begs for Mercy while Sidious replies 'There is no mercy' and the lightning grows stronger and maul writhes on the floor as the camera pulls out and changes to the last scene on Coruscant. A funeral is being held for Duchess Satine, Obi Wan is stood on his own away from the other Jedi and does not cry. Windu talks to Obi Wan and states that Maul or Savage have not been seen since the attack while the camera moves away to Palpatine who allows himself an evil smile.

 

lol You guys got geeked over yesterday's spoiler-news like it was hot off of the press, priceless. I laughed so hard reading this page...

 

Got "Shadow Conspiracy" from the UPS guy right now, awesome. I will write small reviews as I finish each individual part.

Overall opinion on the episodes plot (minor spoilers):

This was fantastic, just shockingly big. This part shows beyond a doubt that what makes the Sith dangerous is not their fighting ability, but their skill in using and manipulating others.
Maul comes off as Palpatines prodigy and worthy heir, always two steps ahead of everybody else. It’s pretty apparent here that the Jedi underestimated how dangerous Maul is, and should have listened to Obi-Wans warning.
This was a very fast paced episode, but not in a bad way, the pacing enforces the idea of how dangerous an unleashed Sith is. Assuming the episode matches the book, this is possibly the best episode so far of the series. This could have easily been a standalone episode, and should have been shown in the first half of the season IMHO.
