Speculation What Actor Should Play A Young Male Skywalker Jedi ? (Images)

Nathan Hammil could play some Jedi Knight, He is almost of the age a Jedi would be anyways,

Andrew Garfield. God no, take away thy cup from thee. That guy completely ruined the new spider-man for me. His acting was stiff, dispassionate and over all bad. His interpretation as spider-man left me with our sour taste in my mouth. His spider-man was cocky and cold...ok this is probably the director's fault but still, he was the guy in front of the camera so it could have been tons better.


Going all against what i said about the girls that were nominated in the "other" thread.

Let me suggest my preferences since everyone is throwing names left and right.

If someone's going to play a "young Skywalker Jedi", they have to be young, charismatic, and have red or blonde hair. I'm actually hoping that the lead role will be a female, Luke's grand-daughter. And a youngling for episode seven, like between the ages of 14-16. Not a child actor, please, that's a fail (Jake Lloyd sucked mainly because he was to young to play such a serious role). So, I'll vote for any young blonde or red-headed actress with some chops and experience, but isn't too well-known. I'll settle for a male lead, but with the same criteria...but, like I said, I would prefer to see a female in the lead role this time around.

OK lets be realistic people, I am hearing names like James McElvoy and such thrown around, if you have a franchise film why grab two. Only a few people have done that in recent years, Shia and Jennifer Lawrence. The only "franchiser" I am for is Liam Hemsworth. His brother is Thor... He fits the billing for a fit young actor with an up and coming career...

 

I can't see Disney being keen on casting actors from Marvel franchises in other movies they do unless they are animated or minor films (even with something like X-Men & Spider-Man which they don't currently own, they likely will eventually).

MacAvoy is too big a name now, and frankly I find LaBoeuf to be massivly over-rated and often annoying.

B. Type of roles he gets

C. I guess it is physically possible for him to loose hulk muscle, so it must there for be possible for him to play a slimmer role.

I did , and I still feel the same way about bulky actors in Star Wars.
And hope it doesn't happen. The alpha male , muscle monster thing belongs some where, not politics... and steroid usage is accepted in others, but it should stay away from Star Wars...Leave it to professional football and other steroid sports.

 

If Wesley Snipes came back, he'd be one of the new Jedi who fights alongside Luke.

Andrew Garfield is suitable to play Ben. But who else can be suitable? Liam Hemsworth has got Miley anyway.

What about Anakin & Jacen Solo?

 

I don't know if anyone has mention it on this thread before, but Garrett Hedlund from Tron Legacy, could be a good Skywalker, he looks a little bit like Hayden Christensen.
