I spared that show a few glances, but after that I got bored. Didn't tune in soon enough to get the plot, and even Captain Cheekbones can't hold my attention for too long without one.:p

Yeah you can't really watch a show like Sherlock in bits and pieces. It's all about the plot.

Which is why, if you're in a hurry, I recommend buying Seasons 1 and 2 of Sherlock and sticking them in a blender with some milk, ice cream, and strawberries. The resulting Sherlock smoothie, or Sherloothie, if you will, can be imbibed in mere minutes - much faster than the actual viewing time - and you'll be able to watch Season 3 as soon as it comes out!

It's not a real Sherlock Holmes smoothie unless it contains white powder.

...What? I was talking about castor sugar.

Probably should've realized that if I'm gonna switch my provider, I should probably change the e-mail address that I only had due to the previous provider before same provider decides to close my e-mail account :p

To be honest, I much prefer Benedict Cumberbatch in roles other than Sherlock for much the same reason as I prefer Hugh Laurie as not-House. The characters are such constructs in and of themselves that I don't see much of the actor's talent coming through. Too many affectations, not enough character - does that make sense?

Of course it makes sense, because Hugh Laurie is first and foremost George.

I'll always associate Hugh Laurie with one specific role for the rest of my life:

Just been to see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

...Am oddly attracted to Kili's Dwarfly stubble and general boyishness. Also find Thorin very broodingly attractive, though am of the opinion he'd work better as Feanor or one of this sons.

    Is this weird?

Only if me saying how much I want Galadriel to call me "Mithrandir" isn't...:p

EDIT: On another note, just finished my strange Thai-subtitled rip of Argo. Not only do I want to own every big-collared shirt and suit in that movie, but it was effing RIVETING.

I'm certain Argo is gonna be a big success financially and critically. People will say it's a good movie, and you should watch it. I have no doubt about its quality.

Thing is, I doubt I'll watch it, or that it'll have much longevity, and that's a shame. It does seem very good, but it's being overshadowed by awesome.

TL, DR, looks good, but HOBBIT.

Definitely see it, I'm a sucker for Cold War stuff in general so I went for it and wasn't disappointed. If anything, it's a pretty good tense heist-style movie.

And as for the Hobbit, it was all I wanted it to be and more.

I have not seen either of those films yet. Such is my schedule at the moment.

But what I have done is grade! And their finals went a little something like this

That is not weird in the slightest. Galadriel is awesome and one of my favourite characters.

*sits on urge to squee all over the boards, because spoilers OMV*

In case nobody realised, I really, really loved that film despite the minor flaws (I'm a Tolkien nut, I picked holes in certain aspects.). So much so that I want to watch it again, and that's the first time I've ever wanted to go see a film at the cinema for a second time. :D

Also, Kili, rawr. :p And Bilbo needs hugglings.

Doesn't it seem like they really missed an opportunity with Lannister Blonde Ale?

Well, seeing as it's Iron Throne Blonde Ale and Joffery's on the throne, they sort of did that.

... How far into it is the TV show, anyway? Did the second season span the whole of CoK?
