Full Series TCW Pessimism Thread

I can feel the pessimism flowing through me!

 

Mixed feelings...
I am pessimistic about becoming happy of being pessimistic.

 

Dan_Grievous_Tikkes_Fan although I am a big fan of it I agree that the Skywalker/Tyranus duel in Crisis on Naboo should be the last of the series.

 

Being the last will allow for no more damage to be done to the ROTS one and it will make the Crisis on Naboo duel become more special by being "The Last TCW duel between the two".

 

That makes the "My powers have doubled since the last time we met, count" line even more awkward though.

I misread what DLK said. I thought he meant it would be better if Crisis on Naboo was the last episode of the series.

Oops, that wasn't an appropriate cliche for this thread given its theme, sorry about that.

So, am I the only one who's not crazy about the Quarren in TCW having mouth-tentacle-things that are all straight and hanging down? Not looking like the dude in Ep. IV.

 

I don't know how I can take Super Tactical Droids seriously, knowing that the Jedi must now fight STDs.

 

The Jedi will fight STDs with pills and rubber.

Bravo Filoni, now that's a great lesson for the kiddies at home.

 

The Republic needs to find a way to scan for STDs before boarding a Separatist ship. If not, they could run into trouble.

 

The best bet is to fight STDs is to just avoid lightsaber use.

 

That is impractical. Abstinence isn't a realistic solution. Jedi will use lightsabers, there's no avoiding that. But it's important to know that if they ARE going to use a lightsaber, that they take the proper safety precautions against STDs.

I disagree. I would be pessimistic if that were the case. I'm not a fan of the fact that Anakin and Dooku fight every two minutes and would have preferred it had they not fought at all between AOTC and ROTS. But now that they HAVE fought and Anakin is fairing progressively better and had Dooku by the throat last time, I really think they need to rectify that by the end of TCW by having Dooku completely mop the floor with him one time for good measure. Otherwise Dooku's confidence in ROTS is just painfully misplaced, well past the point of arrogance, to the point of idiocy.

 

But the Separatists already have the STDs. Its like Quagmire in there.
