The LACWAC create a TCW arc contest.

Okay gang, I'm unveiling the LACWAC create an arc contest hosted by the LACWAC mod squad. Here is how this will work.

Pick 2-4 of those funny consecutive episode titles and create an idea for an arc. There is no need for full blown fanfiction. Just a detailed outline will do. PM your submissions to me and I will assign you a secret number and repost your submission in here for users to review. We'll abuse the boards karma system to vote. I suggest waiting until the end of the contest and liking the one that is your favorite (Your vote will not be counted if you like more than one of the ideas. I'm going to keep a spreadsheet). Submissions will also be judged. Half of the weight will be with the votes and half though my secret panel of judges. I'm working to make this as fair as possible. The winner will be crowned on the 5th of January and receive colors as a prize. May the best arc win!

Alright, I might as well give it a go, should be quite fun. And lol at those titles, it's gonna be hard to choose four of those to write an arc about, but that's all part of the fun

So I assume the "detailed outline" is subject to interpretation? I read that as characters involved, major plot points, cliffhanger endings, etc.

I'll try to avoid producing a wall of text.

 

I have done a lot of episode-ideas before- those are kind of "outlines" I guess.... but I can try to do a bit more detailed ideas out of those loltastic episode titles I think I go with trilogy of episodes out of that Whill-idea.....

 

Honestly the way episode ideas for the episode ideas thread and arcs ideas for the interviews are done is probably fine to submit.

 

Can people like their own ideas?

 

I was gonna start now, but I had a proper look at those titles, and honestly, I think it's gonna take me longer to pick the titles than it will to write the arc, lol.

 

You can but ya can't. Whoever design Xenforo put that much thought into the karma system. =b

 

We debated having people make up fake episodes names, and then getting others to take those titles and create episodes, but the Supershadow names are just so awesome, and if you know any of Supershadow's history, it just seems right.

I mean, "The Enigma Dilemma" and "Ghost of Rage" are pretty much the greatest titles EVAR.

 

Does it matter if the plot has nothing to do with the title(s)?

 

Well, it should be fairly consistent with TCW and its titles, so no, not really.

But seriously, yes, the plot should have some tie-in to the title.
