Full Series Lack of EU characters in TCW

They do cause it is a source for cheap copying or stealing or ruining of ideas.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with EU characters or them being adapted into TCW. I mean, look at heroes and villains of other franchises like Batman. How many times has the Joker been re-imagined for a new Batman tale? To me it's the same. Heath Ledger's popular representation of the Joker differs quite significantly from earlier representations. Somewhere down the line someone created the character, and then since then other people have taken the character and re-imagined him over and over to fit different stories. I don't see it as being disrespectful. Actually I would think it would be a privilege if Lucas recognized your character as being cool enough to adapt into a project that he has heavy involvement in, even if he does alter the character to conform to what he wants to see.
