Hopefully the storm will track about 30-40 more miles north of what they are predicting so that we'll get the heaviest snow here.

Maybe the snow bunny will visit you as well, JM77.

That's only because you live in a spot where people panic when you see some snow flakes. Don't think I didn't hear about the incident in the 90s. A reporter from Ontario stood to the side as people panicked when there was some snow flakes on the shores of British Columbia

It's amazing how people panic, raid the grocery store and forget how to drive when a few snowflakes start falling.

You heard correct, Falcon sis. Even a foot of snow doesn't shut us down but in areas of town that don't get plowed or salted it will keep some home.

    Good evening Roberto.

    Evening
The first and only time I saw snow was when I went to Toronto in the first week of February, I slipped and landed on my a** a couple of teens were walking when it happened. They didn't even laugh. I never thought people could be that nice and mature. I would have laughed if I were them. But it was worth it 19 degree weather is something that I miss dearly.

Only time for such caution is the first week of snow / freeze. Mainly due to wahoo's who come up here from other places and don't know how to drive. Often have ten wrecks the first day on the highway, and scattered wrecks the rest of the week, but even if it snows again after that first week then it is safe to go out. The wahoo's and first timers have gotten it out of their systems and it is safe for the experienced drivers (such as myself) to take to the roads no matter what the weather is doing. Also this is looking like the coldest winter in fifty years so far. Last year was most snow fall -ever- for here, now a cold snap of the half a century. . .what is global warming you all talk about? :p

Coldest winter in 50 years how?! But in New York it's been in the 40's for weeks, when it is at least going into the 20's?
