Speculation Do you want Prequel characters to appear?

I do, as long as it makes sense. If not characters, then species, planets, tech, whatever...

 

Honestly, Jar Jar Binks. I think seeing a much older, wiser and far more serious depiction of him in a smaller cameo could be really great. Could he be a Senator?

 

Since Qui Gon didn't appear in the OT, doesn't make sense for him to return, although, if I'm wrong, if he's introduced ina good way, then maybe. Jar jar, NO F'in way!! C-3p0 and R2D2, but aged a bit now, not as shiny, clean etc, I mean they have been around a while.

 

I'd like to see the prequel era planets more than characters. It would be cool to see OT characters on PT planets.

 

What PT characters are left other than some Senetors, Wookies, and a Gungan!!!!

 

A story needs a conflict that must be solved. They can bring back anybody or make up new characters as long as they develop a problem and then as long as the problems are not solved too quickly and easily.

Like the Oceans films are fine but then I wonder if there is much a problem when you have that many movie stars like George Clooney and other well known guys, then is there really a problem?

And should the next Star Wars films be like the Ocean films? Should it be loaded with an all star cast of fantasy good and bad guys that we either know who they are or new characters as well?

 

I think "All Star" celebrities diminish the film. I was not fond of Sam Jackson being in the PT do to the fact he was the Bad A$$$ MFer Jules

I suppose seeing Sing wouldn't be that bad since we only saw her in Episode 1...

 

Wouldn't they be like really old? I mean, Sing has an excuse - as long as it's sort of stated in the film. Who else could there be? A senile Captain Panaka at the old folk's home rambling about how their security force beat a battle hardened army?

 

As long as there is a point to them being there, not just as a "wouldn't it be cool to wedge in such and such here"
Personally the idea of Hayden and/or Ewan being in there seems naff at best, there would have to be pretty damn good reason for me to buy it.

No. A few things like Coruscant and the Jedi Temple are fine, but otherwise they should ignore the PT whenever possible.

 

To be fair he didn't destroy Luke's home planet, Im sure she would have Daddy issues over it.
