Speaking of which, I believe the current term is to end in few weeks. I will probably be opening the floor of the Senate to nominations for Chancellor/Vice-Chancellor on New Years day, so start thinking on whom you might like to see leading the Senate.

Apologies in advance for probably disappearing and having on my grouchy pants in general. I'm having lockdown issues at work. Wouldn't be that big a deal, except it's med rooms locking down, so none of my nurses can access meds. Fun times for me.

I feel like today is my Birthday, other than the deep cleaning I did for my room.

 

Today I got my book in the mail as well as a cooking light magazine, went to Starbucks to get a coffee, got a season each of 'The Mentalist' and 'White Collar' found my Barnes and Noble gift card and have on my jim jams (pj's), I'm almost done making another t-shirt scarf and am in the process of drawing faces from a photo, for which I am learning to draw teeth because I have absolutely no idea how to do them. Patrick Jane is hot too.

Is the Scoundrels book out yet? I found it at WalMart, and bought it because it looked cool (and has Runners Avatar on it). I then go online, and see 'Preorder- January 2013 on Amazon.

Wal-Mart messed up it shouldn't be on shelves until Jan 1st. I pre-ordered it months ago, so I will probably get it at the end of next week. It was originally supposed to come out on the 26th. You are lucky to have it early. I'm too lazy to run around town and see if anyone by me put it out early. I really do wish I could read it now though. Enjoy, but do not tell me anything until I have finished.

So I called a million people and tried to get a technical problem fixed and all I got were the following: 1 snot-nosed jerk showing me in fast forward what was on my laptop and then telling me after I asked him to ACTUALLY fix it that it would cost (he did not offer a price tag until I asked him), 2. Expected assistance from a service I'm paying for only to find that I 'don't have that level of service' and after asking how much it would cost a quote of 'only $99.99' was given me, 3. Going through tons of tech websites to find out about my current software, the problem itself and any surroundings issues. Took me about four hours of my life and a lot of wasted time on STUPID people who politely require lots of money to solve what any industrious person could easily do themselves. *breathes* So I found it online, downloaded, toyed with and updated and KILLED THE PROBLEM. finally. So now, I'll just do it myself whenever I need something like this done. Why pay when you can do it yourself? Anyways... >.>

 

Sorry about the 4 hours of lost time Swan. I am impressed you found a solution on your own though. Way to go!

 

Now I just need to figure out how to do the whole 'run command prompt' thing. I suck at computers so everything takes a little longer.
