He's a great football player. Crazy psycho on the field, and a strong competitor. That said, I'm not opposed to his career ending this weekend. :p

Took far too long for Fisher to do that. Should have been done the instant Williams was indefinitely suspended.

Edit: And the Bills have interviewed Whisenhunt.

He WAS a great football player. He's washed up now, which really isn't surprising for a 37 year old linebacker.

True. Even last year, he was above average. But, in his prime, there were only a handful who have ever been better at his position.

So Andy Reid was all ready to fly to Arizona today, but Clark Hunt and company flew out to Philadelphia instead and had an 8 hour meeting with him. Evidently he's considering the HC offer and may not even go to Arizona. Talk about going after someone.

The thing is, Reid might well (please God) want Pioli gone if he were to come here... but I'm still pissed that Clark didn't just fire the guy outright. I can't believe Clark is such a rube and Pioli such a huckster. How does anyone listen to this guy? The fans aren't going to give a crap who we have as HC if Pioli is still here. If Hunt can't see how specifically hated Pioli is, how much all of us SaveOurChiefs people detest the man, the fact that Pioli will waste our draft once again if he's here, the fact that many people such as my family who are 23 year season ticket holders categorically will not renew if Pioli is still GM.... he deserves to the inevitable running out of town he'll eventually get along with Pioli. Seriously, Clark, have a spine and fire the guy.

So Reid is close to taking the Chiefs job.

    Bills are talking to Lovie

Cards are interested in Haley again.

    Am I missing something?

    Oh yeah... GO REDSKINS!

No. It's giving props to a guy who took the time to at least make sure his opponent was okay after the loss. I could name a few HCs that have less class than RG3 did.

A "washed up" Ray Lewis is still better than most in their prime. His passion for the game is still amazing.

I'm all for Andy Reid, that'd be a much better hire than I expected. I'd prefer a new GM, but if this hire bails Pioli out, and we still win, fine. Perhaps Geno Smith becomes McNabb part deux.

Andy Reid leads Cards to championship would make him a great sports figure in Arizona.
Andy Reid leads Chiefs to championship would make him a god in KC.

Going to the Chiefs is the obvious choice.
