Having read this book now, I honestly think he is killed by Palpatine right at the end. The possibility exists of course that he wasn't killed but it would make zero sense for this show to keep on playing that game.

 

Yeah, I sure didn't get the "cliffhanger vibe" when I read it... Seemed pretty definitive to me.

So not to nit-pick but how does palpatine use the force on maul? and does sidious wield both sabers the whole time?

My book came in the mail today! I've just finished reading it and Woweeeeeeeee! I'm SO excited for these episodes!! Revival sucks in comparison to the rest of the episodes!

 

Maybe it would be in the children's section and maybe not in the Star Wars section? (I dunno... but I do know in the UK when I was buying the Jedi Apprentice books they were not in the same place as the Star Wars novels. They were in the children section whereas the other SW novels were in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy sections.

Darth Sidious abuses his former apprentice with the Force. At the jump, he force-shoves both of the Grim Twins all the way across the room and after he makes quick work of Savage with his lightsaber, he uses both sabers to bat Maul's weapon out of his hand. From there, Darth Maul gets rag-dolled by force grip/push and lightning.

 

Alas, my local Barnes & Noble didn't have it. I have the fight spoilers, but is the rest any good?

I'm very interested to see what happens to other OCs from the previous Mandalorian episodes; are the fates of Almec, Korkie etc. given? If not (maybe even regardless), I think we'll be seeing Mandalore again after season five.

Is it true that Maul and Vizsla free Almec from jail and Obi-Wan teams up with Korkie in the prison riot?

Well, now we've learned the plot to each episode. Looking at Eminence, it seems a little rushed.

As I said previously in the thread, I think it’s rushed on purpose, to show how much a force of nature a Sith with a plan is. It really brings home why even in small numbers the Sith are a huge threat, makes it clear how big a mistake it was for the Jedi to stop pursuing Maul
