    Put it this way: I knew my mother had hit menopause the first time I heard her complain about being hot. She wears layers when it's 70 degrees, and I'm in shorts and sandals.

    Yes. You will feel completely normal, whereas I'm going to be totally ****ed and will have to take a sabbatical in Alaska in order to survive.

    This is something a fellow cold-and-snow-loving friend and I tease each other about--we're going to be doing that sabbatical in Alaska together, whereas our friends who ***** every time the temperature drops below 70 degrees (and there are several of them) will have the good fortune of feeling somewhat normal during that time.

    Why I ruined it by watching that brother, sinister, brother crap, I do not know. :(

    Last year I only watched 3 episodes throughout the year (and only 8 minutes of one).

    I remember watching clips of a few including Daniel Logan trying to voice act. [face_plain]

    Eh, any English parodies are nowhere near as good as the original. Not knowing what's being said makes things way funnier. That's why I like Deadpool style, since it's just the original song, but with Deadpool!

    But I loved the reference to Americans liking British shows like Sherlock and Doctor Who.

    Yeah kinda. We basically don't allow for links to download or watch pirated movies or episodes but everyone just kinda shrugs wrt YouTube, episode clips, trailers, etc.

    I'm beginning to lose hope that I will ever see a Starship Troopers film that does justice to the original or to Roughneck Chronicles.

    Just watched Starship Troopers: Invasion, and good god did it suck. It's pretty much Aliens by way of Vanquish with Starship Troopers slapped on the box. And it is one ugly film. Hero of the Federation and Marauder might have looked bad due to their pathetic budgets, but this all CGI OVA is just terrible.

    I don't understand anime animators. Even when you are working with CGI, the medium that is supposed to grant people the most freedom for the least amount of work in terms of animation and concept, can still churn out crap like this that makes the last two episodes of Evangelion look like they were animated by Disney.
