Eh, that's the TCW Headhunter though (not that I have a problem with the change in design -- I'm happy enough that it's there). The Titanium series by Hasbro actually made an EU-accurate Z-95 toy.

edit: In fact, I have it here on my desk. Funny story: my little cousin once asked me what it was, since she was randomly rummaging through my SW stuff and asking about all of it, so I told her that it was a "baby X-wing" :p

To think, just the other day in the diversity thread we were discussing a lack of diversity in Lego characters...

    And along comes a Neimodian.

Same as Durge, I think. The Filoni TCW has all the villain characters they need (they'd probably go to Aurra if they needed a darker female bounty hunter, as opposed to Sugi), so the ones that came before kinda get the shaft. I always liked Vianna, though. She's kind of a morally gray character, even though she only made two appearances. So I'm using her in my story, she's pretty perfect for it in that sense!

I'd love it if D'Pow appeared in TCW. The microseries digests were campy, but they added some really good characters to the EU.

Edit: Huh, I didn't realize that she was introduced in the Tales series. I'll have to check that out.

Yeah my friends made sure to point out the Lego SSD to me when we visited the Lego store in NYC. The box alone is huge.

I asked the employees how long it was, and they gave me some figure (maybe 48 in. or something, I forget) and I said no you're wrong, it's actually 2.3 times longer. They got confused. :p

EW has a 100th episode retrospective trailer thingy. All stuff we've seen before, except for a few seconds of footage from the Ventress/Ahsoka teamup (???) episode at the very end. Interestingly, we see Ahsoka falling down a giant circular pit on Coruscant, rather like the one in 1313...

    EDIT: Jello, you're terrible. :p

Eh, today's episode was rather weak, IMO. The only memorable thing was that we got a Sullustan, which we don't see that often. A Sullustan who talks like a Russian mobster. :p

Wait, how did they reference Malachor?

It was a total out-of-the-blue reference -- IIRC, Gascon was swearing about something and said something about Malachor. At the time he said it I thought I was mishearing things, but according to other folks in LACWAC I'm not the only one who heard it.

Unfortunately I can't remember the exact expression he used.

Swearing about Malachor? He probably just read Revan.

    LACWAC knows what that is?

    Doesn't sound right.

"...but there's no way in Malachor that I'm going to lead this pitiful squad on an assault of that landing zone."

That might have been one of the coolest EU name-drops this show has done so far. :D

Indeed. Considering the appearance of Malachor in KOTOR II, that's an incredibly apt euphemism, much better than some others. I suppose that's confirmation that Malachor never truly recovers from the Mandalorian Wars. Sad, but cool that the Exile left a mark on the universe (besides the, uh, surviving Jedi Order itself)

I might have to catch up this Winter Break.

"Malachor" synonymous with "hell"? Yeah, I'm down with that.

It's hard for a planet to recover when it's blown into pieces and the only other habitable planets in the system are Sith Deathtraps in their own right

This episode was alright, though it's annoying that
they finally bring in an interesting character, a commando no less, then just kill him off five seconds later.

Pfft. Only interesting thing about Argyus was his flock-of-seagulls hairdo.
