Any minor character that survives the whole thing is without a doubt the biggest badass.

    By this, I mean Wedge.

Tarkin blew up an entire planet without giving a ****. Not sure how you can top that. But I'll go with Han for now.

Vader was BA, but the PT sort of ruined that. :( My Han vote is for the pre-SE Han. Post SE, I vote Lando.

I agree. Wedge is sweet, and he's not a cocky, arrogant jerk...ahemahemhansoloahemahem

Wedge. He's the only individual in the Galaxy that took on two Deaths Stars and he literally flew rings around the Empire on Hoth. And he did it all without The Force.

Special Editions. The cuts Lucas released in 1997 which featured several controversial changes, including changing the Han/Greedo confrontation to have Greedo fire first

That's what's so great about him. He's just some modest dude who flies for what's right without some majestic, fabulous, mystical Force.

My vote goes Wedge. Wedge is my favorite x-wing pilot. How many people can honestly say they played massive roles in taking down two death stars, and lives to tell about it. Wedge is da boss.

No Luke? What part of "I used to bullseye womprats in my T16 back home, and they're not much bigger than two meters" doesn't scream bad ass? :)

Oh yeah, there's the whole rescuing Han, destroying Jabba, defeating Vader and confronting the Emperor stuff too.

For the life of me, I can't think of the time Luke rescued Han in the movies.
Didn't Leia destory Jabba by choking him to death?

Luke rescued Han from Jabba; it was his plan, and he did most of the work. Yes, Leia did a lot too, and she choked Jabba to death, but Luke was the mastermind behind bringing down Jabba's syndicate, which of course was a side effect of rescuing Han.

I forgot blowing up the Death Star. He did that too.

But he didn't look anything like a badass at all, ever even in the first place, dude!!!!

Now, Han Solo, on the other hand, was also a modest dude who files/who fights 4 four what's is right without some majstic, fabolous, mystical Force, just like wedge antilles 2 too!!!!

Yeah, duh. Spoke without thinking. It always bothered me that Luke told Han "Now that's one you owe me" instead of "Now I only owe you one."

Lord Tyrannus, are looks all that makes someone cool? Quite honestly, Anakin doesn't look that cool to me till he becomes Darth Vader. But most would agree he's pretty cool.

Of course, that being said, why on earth would Wedge not defend Luke and Biggs after he took damage in the first Death Star trench? That seemed a bit cowardly to me, as he could have disrupted Black Squadron's attacks against the Alliance's last hopes and perhaps have saved Luke's best friend.

Looks are a big part of it, yes. You, of all people, Darth Ender , would know, from our past experiences, my fascination with Hayden Christensen. But let's not bring that up anymore over here, ok???

He became darth vader long before he got the cyborg samurai robot suit. Before and after, he did look just so freaking awesome!!!!

Han said, "Now I owe you one", but you are totally right about the count being wrong. Luke owed Han two before ROTJ (the trench run save, plus the Hoth save), so following the Jabba the Hutt save in ROTJ, Luke should still owe Han one.

But of course, Han was simply expressing his gratitude in his particular way.
