Lit Have SW acronyms ruined your life?

Twitter hash tags are far more complicated to me than Star Wars acronyms.

 

One of my classes this semester was EU Law Seminar. Yeah, that was annoying.

 

There's an ESB Bank in Pittsburgh that constantly screws with me.

 

You are from Pittsburgh?!?!? Go Penguins!!

 

You must be confused - I'm a Star Wars fan. I don't acknowledge the existence of sports.

 

I love being that guy in my group of friends...
My friend: "Dude you going to come over and catch the game?"
Me: "Sure who is playing?"
My friend: "Steeler, duh. Aren't you pumped?"
Me: "Eh... you know what I am pumped for? Star Wars Episode 7"
My friend: "Oh yeah... I heard about that. When does it come out?"
Me: "2015"
My friend: "Thats like two years away"
Me: "Yeah so?"
My friend: "So why not watch the game now?"
Me: "Cause I want to find out how much of the EU they will use."
My friend: "What is the EU?"
Me: "Everything that is Star Wars that isn't the movies."
My friend: "Like The Force Unleashed?"
Me:"Yeah exactly"
My friend: "Dude, just watch the game."

 

My friends know better than to ask if I want to watch sports

 

I've seen the ESB bank while going through Pittsburgh and got a chuckle from it. Sometimes, I'll see license plates with ANH on them. Haven't had too much trouble with acronyms. If anything, they amuse me when I see them in other contexts.

I know its not an acronym, but I live in the suburbs of Illinois and every time I pass through Palatine I think to myself "its just missing another P"

And to the above posters, While I am a HUGE SW fan, I also like sports. Big Bears, White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks fan.

 

I didn't mean to say that Star Wars fans can't be sports fans, but I am the guy that knows more about nerd things than sports things... I probably watch an hour of Sport Center a week and probably one proffesional game of some sort. That being said, try to catch every new Episode of TCW, plus time on here, plus catching SW anytime it's on SPIKE

 

Isn't SW on SPIKE like all the time? Or Indy. It might as well be called LFLTV.

 

Just got a weird look from a colleaguewhen I giggled when he mentioned we had new CoD forms. I am such a terrible person.

 

At work, one of our vans has "NJO" as part of is license plate. Unsurprisingly, its the one I have no trouble remembering ...

 

For a few days I wondered "Why the sudden invasion of Trekkies?" before realizing ST = Sequel Trilogy.
