CT Would Vader have kept the Death Star if he was Emperor?

Why was despayre destroyed? If the rebels didn't stop the empire, or if they never existed in the first place, how many other planets would the death star have been used on? The reason they only used it on alderaan and despayre is because the rebels defeated them before they could do anything else.

 

Didn't the Sith rule the galaxy during the events of the game "Knights Of The Old Republic 2"? Wasn't that 4000 years before Phantom Menace?

I think the Death Star was to be a physical symbol of the might of the Empire as stated by the Imperial officer in ANH. He referred to is as the 'ultimate power in the universe'.

 

He wouldn't have hunted down any slavers!!! Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker definitley supported slavery as a dictator!!!

 

I think he would have pimped it out and put red flames on the side, then sold it to some space station hot rodder.
