    My mom's a teacher, and she wanted it spelled as it sounds or something. (Not like anybody ever gets my full name spelled right.) I like it though, and I've actually met more fellow "Dillon's" than "Dylan's" in real life.

    Name meaning is cooler too. "Dillon" means "faithful," or "loyal," or "like a lion," it's Irish/Gaelic. "Dylan" just means "by the sea" or "son of the sea," and is Welsh.
