Fine thanks, Bones! Working on my project and also reading through Shadow War (at least, the GoL part of it), currently 14 pages in.

 

The truncation issue sadly affected several of my older posts in Shadow War.

 

Yeah, I noticed (and not only yours)! Pity, but I'm getting the gist. Looks really interesting. Any news on the Admin guys putting the truncation right? ISTR they said it would be happening.

 

Last I heard they are working on it, I have no reason to doubt them. There is a thread here regarding the issue.

 

I saw that. I'm having to pick up most of Bard'ika's truncated stuff through replies.

 

I have rough drafts of all my posts there since August of 2011 saved on my computer. The ones before that were saved on my old PC which died around that time so those are lost until the truncation issue is fixed. I want to say CPL backed up the entire thread (or at least the GoL parts) if someone needed to reference something that was lost but I am not sure. Luckily I think most of what was lost was internal character stuff, alot of which is no longer relevant with Ryi's departure from the game. One day I should go back and read it all to see just what was and wasn't lost.

 

I'm gonna have to settle in one of these days and finally finish catching up on the thread. Once I know what's going on, I'm planning on joining, but I don't wanna just drop out of the sky.

 

Why not? That's what most new players do. Some of them literally.

He should have won an award for best dramatic introduction to an RP.

 

I don't mind dropping out of the sky, so much as dropping out of the sky without a reason for being there. I'm not a fan of players who just show up out of no where with no reason for being in the area. I like to know I can fill a need when I arrive in a new game.

 

Makes sense. Fortunatly two Star Destroyers just arrived in game, one full of mando/jedi hybrids (The Journeyman Knights, CPL's creation) and another ship under Sky Guy's command that I am guessing could have some Jedi aboard if need be. Or you could just fall out of the sky like Ian did, because to be honest, that was funny.

 

Hmmmm. I like that idea. Maybe I'll fall out of the sky in a painful way. I do so love beating up my characters.

 

You should fit in just fine then.

 

Just make sure that if you're going to be playing on our side you need to send me a character sheet first via pm

Yes I did Tim and I apologize for not responding and timely manner things have been a little crazy on my end not only here on the boards but in real life as well.

Give me about 24 hours to look it over again and we will start working on it together.

as far as everyone else was waiting on me in the game feel free to converse with each other the group that was heading back to the temple should consider themselves already there and the group going to the ruins should consider themselves almost there. And Chewbacca consider your hibernation sickness healed.

Wow, I just looked through Shadow War and I have 17 truncated posts. Of those I have the last 14 saved on my hard drive here so at least I know what I posted.

Guess I am too long winded, though in my defense several of those were combined posts.

Of course, CPL. I'm actually holding off on writing it until I figure out who I want to be. Gotta get caught up first.

EDIT: I'm catching up quickly, but with the action going on at this point in the story I've got John Williams blaring in my head, and I can barely sit still at work. You guys are awesome.

 

Aaaaaaaaaaand, I'm all caught up. I'll have a CS ready probably in the next day or so.

I can't wait. I'm new to SW RPGs, so I think this should be awesomely fun.
