Sure she does, but nothing compared to just about 99.9% of the pics you ever see of her, or any tv appearence. Still, perhaps "makeup-lesser" is a more accurate term.

She takes part in what is a very important scene in the first RDJ/Holmes film where he guesses her job and place in life but get's the last part wrong. The point being Holme sis very good but not perfect since perfection in the story would be boring.

So, I've been thinking about something. Namely, why do "professional" photographers make beautiful women look less beautiful? Or is it just me? Either way, I tend to find pictures of beautiful women to better when they look more natural and, above all, actually look like themselves. I mean, when I am attracted to an actress or whatever, it's because I find her attractive. Her qualities; so why would you obfuscate those qualities when you take her picture? Why would you make an attractive woman not look like herself? I mean, you have a beautiful woman to photograph; your job is to stay out of the way of her beauty.

I think what I'm talking about will be more obvious with a concrete example. For instance, Jennifer Connelly . . .

EDIT: I may do more examples later (I mean, other celebrities, not more pictures of Connelly). There are so many.

 

I think the point is to do something different for some marketing/art purpose rather than just take a portrait. I would not have recognized that first pic as Connelly.
