You know I know someone that worked for the marketing dept of a vineyard in Coonarawa in South Australia. They entire office got a whole case of wine a week for marketing purposes. The office was pissed drunk on friday afternoon after it arrived.

I get expensive, poor quality healthcare, a rotating shift and a union that is most certainly not looking out for my best interests.

Supervisors who give me 20 hours of tasks but only 2 hours to complete them, while working alone, and then asking why the hell the task list isn't finished and I have to stand there and take it instead of just saying what's on my mind like "NO **** ITS NOT DONE YOU ONLY HAVE ONE GODDAMN NAME ON THE SCHEDULE YOU ******* MORON!"

 

what is the standard annual leave for the average american anyway? in the UK i get paid 27 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays (christmas, new year etc). i assume that's good.

as a bonus i get 15 paid study days per year, but that's not standard.

Sarcasm aside, I agree. Majority of my kids act like grown folks. It is heartbreaking knowing that they aren't enjoying their youth.

 

I work for the government. I'm literally not supposed to put any details about it online. And it's incredibly menial. Weird.
