You can't pick Luke Skywalker! He doesn't look cool, and that's ultimately what's most important ;)

I have a hard time picking faves, but one thing I love that kind of fits this topic.. I love Han's bluster towards Jabba, and then him turning to Luke and saying "You know you're gonna die here, right?" when Luke talks about having lived on Tatooine. That moment is pretty unique - it isn't a hero "fighting impossible odds" (we have seen that plenty!), it is a hero who KNOWS this one is over, who really BELIEVES that, who STILL won't give the bad guys the satisfaction of losing his cool. Granted, Han is wrong about their fate, but at that moment, he really believes that this is the end, and he is going to stick it to Jabba right to the end. Always thought that was a great, kind of unique moment, and added to the character's overall coolness in my book.

I must I am split between Jabba, Han and Lando.
    Han is so fan.

    Lando is the smooth operator.

Jabba is the gangster that could die from a detonator, but laughs at the situation.

One is sure not a badass - Boba. In ROTJ he was almost like the clumsy mess Jar Jar was in Episode I.

Vader, your avatar picture is quite misleading!

Also, everyone knows the most badass of badasses is PRUNE FACE from RotJ. He is the most wizard man in the galaxy...

Jokes. I really have to go with Han Solo on this one, from the moment the guy charged at that squad of stormtroopers with Chewie in A New Hope I always thought he was a huge badass.

The guy sent Vader spinning into space, had the gusto to pull a gun on him, fried poor Greedo, responds to "I love you" with "I know", steps on Jabba's tail, was about to kill an Ewok and did not give an eff (Luke stopped him).

And in doing all of this he didn't even have the Force.

Also he gets the girl in the end while managing to treat her like bantha fodder through the entire trilogy.

I could go on but, eh, you get the point.

Han is pretty wizard even though Luke and Obi-Wan are my favorite characters of all time. Kenobi is the biggest badass in the entire saga though!

Y-yes he does. Even if it was Special Edition, it still counts, George Lucas is the guy that determines what is and isn't Star Wars canon.

    You stand corrected.

By looks and aesthetics, Boba Fett.

By actions and abilities, Luke Skywalker.

By character and dialogue, Han Solo.

By the same logic if I chose to believe that Han did step on Jabba's tail then well, he did.

And me being a fan, you contradicted your own point by saying it never happened, so why correct me in the first place?

Are you the only fan that counts?

You're right. I'm not a real Star Wars fan, I'm a fake Star Wars fan. How terrible of me.

You got me, you win. I'm shaking my dick; this pissing contest is over.

First, statements about "REAL fans" are pretty frowned upon around here. Second, Han stepping on Jabba's tail was added for the 1997 theatrical release (the Special Edition), so that doesn't make much sense.

I love you for saying wizard. I'm bringing it back; we're bringing it back!!

I think our friend was trying to say that any real fan wouldn't go by any of the Special Editions, he just has his own -special- way of saying it. The people that created grammar apparently don't have a say either in his mind.

Anyways I agree with you, you're either a fan or you aren't.

Personally, I choose to go by what I see in the latest release of the Star Wars films (Complete Saga on Blu ray) because to me ultimatley it's the creators that make the decisions and their vision that matters. I at least respect them even if I don't agree with them. All we have to do is sit on our lazy arses and watch the movie, we buy them and watch them because we CHOOSE to. Accepting or liking a certain aspect of something about a series CERTAINLY doesn't make you less of a fan; that assumption is just arrogant.
