http://www.aintitcool.com/node/60333 Damn, I thought the 20th anniversary edition was going to be in colour and post converted to 3D
And that's why I'd never register on AICN. The JCC seems modest in comparison to their cynicism. I already have a great quality HDTV someone uploaded of Schindler's List. I don't think I'd buy the film on Blu-Ray, though- it's not one of the films I'd pop in repeatedly because of how emotionally draining it is. I bought The Pianist on DVD after I once saw it on TV roughly six years ago, and have yet to watch the feature on DVD again. I will probably have to wait for a little longer before I can sit through it in its entirety a second time.
I still need to see this film. Kinda pissed off that I haven't seen it yet. One of the few Spielberg films I haven't watched yet. It has a bunch of actors I really like in it too. FACEPALM FACEPALM FACEPALM
Out of all the major studios, Universal seems most committed to getting its catalog of classics on Blu-ray-- and in the best quality possible (especially with its 100th anniversary). I'm not sure if Munich is generally considered "classic," but they'll get to it eventually.
I'm annoyed that I haven't been able to see the end of this yet. Will have to ask around to see if anyone has it to borrow on dvd.
