White House Response to Death Star Petition

    The White House has responded to the petition to build a Death Star. Approximately 34,000 people signed the petition.

    Some of the reasons given for not building a Death Star:

    • The construction of the Death Star has been estimated to cost more than $850,000,000,000,000,000. We're working hard to reduce the deficit, not expand it.
    • The Administration does not support blowing up planets.
    • Why would we spend countless taxpayer dollars on a Death Star with a fundamental flaw that can be exploited by a one-man starship?

    I love it. I was just about to post it.

    You know if anyone wants to question why we love Star Wars, you got to look at how these petitions / responses brings a smile to a lot of peoples faces.
