Yeah, the Eagles also interviewed some homeless guy with a sign around his neck that said "Will work for food"...

Apparently, he also turned the Eagles down.

I think that Cowher wants to feel wanted, but doesn't actually want to coach. The local sports media said that Billick wants to coach again in the worst way. Wonder if he'll get another chance. For an offensive guy, Baltimore was always lacking in that area during his tenure.

And I'm rooting for the Falcons, for the reasons Rox outlined.

I'm beginning to wonder if Bruce Arians will stay put in Indy. I kinda want to see that happen, as I don't really want to see Luck learning a new offensive scheme. Besides, the issue with Arians offense this season was a severe lacking in the O-line area and we now have $47 million in freed up cap space to go after some free agent linemen. Having said that, I hope we stay away from Jake Long. He is going to want a huge payday and I don't think he's worth the money he's going to want.

I was getting ready to say, if I was Indy and Jim Irsay, I'd be throwing a **** ton of money at Arians to get him to stay after what he did in keeping the ship righted when Pagan was sidelined this year.

a large part of billick's problem was that they couldn't get a QB that was worth anything, that's why their offense was always lackluster. trent dilfer anyone? kyle boller? i don't know who else they had, but i don't remember it being anyone worth doing anything with.

The one gap 3-4 is probably what we have the best personnel for. Really glad we're not going back to a 4-3.

BTW, can we finally agree that Peyton belongs alongside Favre in all time QB rankings, not at the very top with the likes of Brady and Montana?

On the radio the other day they cited the parallels between Favre and Manning in the post season. Favre's TD-INT is something like 44-32 and Peyton's was like 33-22. Maybe I can look up those figures when I'm not on my phone. Still, the overall point is pretty clear.

I wouldn't argue that point. But where would you rank Marino?

Maybe a touch lower, considering Marino never got a ring.

For super bowl ranking quarterbacks here's how I see them.

    Montana
    Bradshaw
    Brady
    Aikman
    Staubach
    Elway
    Roethlisberger/Griese
    Starr
    Plunkett

    Honorable Mention: Eli Manning

I'm not saying this is my all time greats list but my top 10 Superbowl QB's.

    What about Jeff Hostetler?

Also, how is Big Ben on this list? He's been in 3 Super Bowls and sucked in all 3.

Yeah, Ben's definitely lower tier of Super Bowl winners. Super Bowl XL was particularly bad.

Wait. Ben didn't suck in XLIII. Should have been MVP, instead of Holmes.

    Maybe he didn't suck in that one. Here are the numbers;
Roethlisberger finished 21 of 30 for 256 yards, one TD, and one INT
