Welp, this is going to plummet his draft stock (as the deceit will be percieved to be a 'character issue'). Hell, he may not even make it to the NFL this year, depending on if he gets hit with any Civil/Criminal charges for lying about this.

We don't know the whole story yet. I'm sure ESPN will choke us to death with any and all info that comes out regarding this issue.

 

Yes, they are (as well as the "Chip Kelly becomes Eagles HC" deal), but I still think I'm right about his draft stock plummeting as a result of this.

One thing I heard mentioned today was the possibility of legal action here - fraud based on all the donations made in her name. Have to see if that develops.

I'm still waiting for someone to drop the "Notre Dame's football team was a hoax" joke.

 

Saw a few of those comments this morning when Mike and Mike in the morning splashed some of the Facebook comments they were recieving about this on the screen.

 

I saw plenty of 'Alabama are confused because based on the national championship they thought Manti Te'o was not real'.

 

In the 'you can't make this stuff up sometimes" department:

Mom confiscates son's letter of intent.

The Heliocopter parent strikes again!

 

And now that the dad has signed the son's letter of intent and it should all be over, she's hired a lawyer.
