I guess you weren't around to see me gleefully bash an episode. That's not what it looks like.

I know what you mean Gry Sarth. I too searched the web and found a pic so bone-chillingly terrifying that I was chilled to the very marrow of my bones. And I wondered what has TCW come to? It's not a spoiler, cuz spoilers are not allowed here, but I spoiler-tagged it so that it would not frighten small children.

That clip does really make sense after reading the trivia... I am starting to assume they put random sounds for Jabba to say and now the actual language that was used for ROTJ.

You have a point. No arc anymore is written by more than one writer. It is always one writer for each episode of an arc.

And yes, I know the Slavers arc had two, but that is something that was left from the old days.
I personally was not impressed how Collins wrote the Onderon arc\s first two episodes.

I don't have a problem with it at all. However it is off topic in the episode thread and I imagine in the glory days Gry, Garth, and Barriss would have considered it off topic in an episode thread as well. You can talk about this all day in the disco. I'll be sad to see you go.

Actually no, the discussion threads occasionally either went off topic or stayed on course. Although many off topic discussions accumulated after the episode had ended.

That's how we rolled back in the day.

Barriss wasn't really involved in the glory days. ;) She came in right before this place shot itself in the foot.

I wonder if Eminence is going to have any plot points about censorship and power trips?

Garth Edit: And this is just taking it a little too far guys. Guess we just can't move on.

Perhaps someone needs to create the LACWAC equivalent of the "old man bar" for folks to congregate and wistfully lament the passing of the old days and gripe about the young whipper snappers. Ironically I bet I'm older than most on here.

I think its great to see the Clone Wars tying all these character and plot threads together... Maul, Death Watch, Hutts, Bounty Hunters, Satine & Obi-Wan. I've actually been waiting for the show to do this since it began!

I remember one of the first tastes of that when I was sitting in the theater watching the charity screening of the Nightsisters trilogy back in December 2010... they had Savage show up at King Katuunko's doorstep to swipe him at Dooku's request. I thought "oh, that's a cool callback to Season 1" but that was so shortlived when Savage took him out and Katuunko didn't have a chance to do anything. At the end of season 3 they called back to season 2 by having Sugi and Seripas rescue the Wookiees and Ahsoka... this callback was better as it tied in well with the plot, and didn't swiftly kill them off, but it was also very shortlived.

So now TCW is finally becoming serialized TV proper by pulling in previous season plot threads and actually doing something with them. Like I said, I've been waiting a long time for this... =D=

Guys, last warning on staying on topic. It's getting all Return of the King in here and nobody wants that.

Wooooo-hooooo, Eminence is finally here! I want to see Maul's new-new-new legs (and TPM robes?) and Savage's new arm.

Well, today is doubly sad. We're losing Garth and possibly GGrievous... and FRINGE ends! :_|

If "Eminence" isn't good, I might just stay in bed and cry for a week year.

I didn't realize that burn centers were a tender subject.
