I would be quite happy with Vaughn.

Note: My first post here in 8 years. Glad to be back.

Sorry, darthzac14--when I mentioned "First Class," I was referring to the most recent X-Men film, which was indeed great. I should have been clearer. As for the other X-Men films, I don't think Vaughn had anything to do with them--but I certainly could be wrong about that. Anyone know?

Well I knew that Vaughn had directed a X-Men movie but at the time I couldn't remember which one. I've since looked and saw which one... Anyway I was being un-necessarily vague

Drew Struzan Approached for Star Wars: Episode VII

For a man who is now retired, artist Drew Struzan has nonetheless managed to recently turn out some great pieces, including a painted poster for "Being Human." Discussing the new work with Fanhattan, Struzan also revealed that he's already been contacted by Walt Disney Pictures to potentially design new art for Star Wars: Episode VII and beyond.

"Oh my god, I’m trying to be retired!" Struzan laughs. "You know, I spent 35 years painting 'Star Wars'. I painted 'Star Wars' before most of you were born! But I guess there is always a chance. There’s no intention. But I would love to have a day off every now and again, and I have to work a weekend and all through the night. If the opportunity arises, it will be a real temptation. But it’s going to have to be a real temptation to get me away from my wife and my little grandkids and my family. Away from the green trees and the blue skies for a change instead of just locked in the studio. But, you know, never say never. All things are possible."

In addition to his work with past Star Wars films, Struzan is responsible for posters for The Thing, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and many, many more.

Star Wars: Episode VII, meanwhile, is still without an officially announced director but will feature a screenplay by Michael Arndt and a planned release date of 2015.

Great some news... if it is bad or worse, don't know, but I will wait to see what the story is about and who are the actors. Even then I will probably wait to see the actual movie.

J.J. Abrams Talks Star Wars: Episode VII

    Source: E! Online
    January 28, 2013

As announced last week, J.J. Abrams will be bringing "Star Wars" back to the big screen with Star Wars: Episode VII. We're probably still a few years away from seeing anything from it, but Abrams is excited about working on the film and is committed to making this a movie we all want to see (via E! Online).

"It really is an incredible thing, It's wildly surreal. It's obviously way too early to talk specifics, but I'm excited to actually start it."

Abrams did give his goal for the film in an interview with The Huffington Post.

"I can just say what I want to do: I want to do the fans proud. I want to make sure the story is something that touches people. And we're just getting started. I'm very excited."

Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. Michael Arndt is writing the script. Disney and Lucasfilm are planning a new trilogy with a new movie coming every other year.
