I wonder how connected to "Revival" this episode will feel, considering they split it up.

I'm guessing very much, considering the preview of Maul and Savage being found, presumably soon after Revival.

So, that was hilarious while it lasted.

I'm prepared to laugh as much as possible at the Maul & Savage stuff, I hope they get crazy retarded with it.

The episode was produced in the same batch as the rest of the Maul arc was. It was just aired a lot earlier probably because they (correctly) figured War on Two Fronts would be too lame of a season opener.

I'm in the middle of watching all the Mandalore and Death Watch episodes to prep for this. Last weekend was the S2 Mandalore trilogy, just got through Corruption, Academy next, followed by a Friend in Need from S4.

Despite "A Friend in Need" being a standalone episode, I thought it did a really good job of portraying Vizsla and the Death Watch. Hopefully these next three episodes will portray him in the same way.

So Maul (possibly) gets another set of new legs? Will these be organic or still the (now standard) set of mecha-legs? [face_thinking]

And don't feel bad (for anybody not getting to watch it on Friday unlike the Canucks) I don't get to watch it until Sunday. It's because I don't have a TV, and LucasArts doesn't stick it onto their official site until Sunday rolls around. ;)

Yeah, I don't watch it on TV either (I have a TV but not Cartoon Network)... so it's starwars.com for me too. Man, I hope this is on topic enough.

You're discussing how you're going to watch this episode, as long as it's not piracy, I'd say it's on topic. ;)

I won't get to see this until Sunday either, so I'll probably take a day off from LACWAC :_|. Hopefully, this episode will be worth it.

I really just feel that they dropped the ball completely with the Mandos, hopefully they will redeem themselves with this arc.

That looks so familiar.. what is that from Esg ?

I'd probably watch this when it actually airs, but I'm not going to wake up at 7:30 to catch this. :p

How long is this arc supposed to be, anyway?
Hopefully not over 3.. all of these long arcs are getting annoying.

It's three episodes, "Eminence", "Shades of Reason" and "The Lawless".

Production-wise, it's a four-parter, with "Revival" being the first episode.

I'm honestly a supporter of longer arcs as long as they have enough story to actually fill 4 episodes. But I've always preferred serialised shows to episodic.

I'm kind of sad that we know what every arc will be from this point. Ever since S2 we've gotten more and more leaks and previews so the excitement to find out what happens next just isn't there anymore.

LACWAC for the next few days:

Exactly. And 07jonesj, yes exactly. Keep an awesome arc going longer? Get even deeper into interesting plot and character developments? Awesome.

Make every single arc 4 episodes just because? Not awesome.

It will be interesting to see how these 3 Mando episodes go - compared to watching all 4 (with Revival) in a row. The breakup with Revival here I think will actually benefit the arc.

I actually get the feeling that this is going to be a good arc and that its works as one, unlike droids or Onderon.

I'm all for long arcs as long as long as they meet three simple requirements:

    1. Character or story development-Preferably both.
    2. Entertaining plot.. I don't care what it is, just make the arc entertaining.
    3. Good lightsaber Duels or fights

I haven't been around lately because 2 out of 3 arcs have not met these simple requirements. Onderon and the Droid arc were so bad that I would never watch Onderon again and I can't tell you the first thing about the Droid arc because....well I didn't finish any of the episodes besides the one with Gregor in it. And even that one was bad, Gregor was weak and had nothing interesting about him.

Hopefully this arc brings the excitement back to watching The Clone Wars.
