We're getting there. Hang on tight. Two weeks of episodes really.

This episode was really good. Interesting to see how the 'reset' effects things, if the Observers are gone, do Walter and Peter even still exist?

Great to see Olivia being dosed with cortexiphan, Fauxlivia and Lincoln are back in, Broyles is back as well, I'm thinking the Bishop line might come to an end with the 'knowledge' that Walter might die here and namely Peter's 'I love you, forever.' line to Olivia.

It's gonna be one helluva finale.

Woohoo, will be settling in to watch in 11 hours or so.

Resetting timeline to Etta as a kid in the field is my bet how it ends. Hope for something less obvious though.

3 hours. I think the Bishops are going down, but Olivia and Etta will survive it.

    I hope Astrid lives too.

I say they all live. Except Etta. She'll stay dead.

Fauxlivia leaves Lincoln Lee, crosses back and the 2 Olivia's have a polyamarous relationship with Peter

That ending was too easy. Slightly disappointed. I did love the Fringe event attack on Observer HQ. The fight scene leading up to the end was pretty cool. Me: "Oh ****, oh ****! She still has Cortexiphan in her system!"

That last scene was perfect. It was somewhat predictable.

you knew Donald would die and Walter would take the boy.

But the thing that bugs me is the plan:

If the observers never exist, September never goes back and interrupts Walter discovering Peter's cure. Peter lives and Walter has no reason to cross over. But what else? Walter likely never cuts out his brain. Elizabeth never kills herself. Nina never loses her arm. Walter's assistant isn't likely to have the fire so Walter never ends up in St. Clare's.

    This. Also:

How would Olivia and Peter ever meet? The war between Red and Blue started because Walter stole Peter from Red. No war, no Fringe events. No Fringe events, no Fringe team.

    Enjoyable finale. Very fulfilling.

I was a bit confused, though, about Windmark.

Did Olivia kill him, by going into some hulked out Cortexiphan mode, or was it Michael? Or did they both do it together? Also, I wanted Windmark to get hit by the floating-in-the-air bullet. :(

Cute ending, if predictable. I loved the Cabin in the Woods style infiltration, though I'd have liked even more of it.

Olivia did the car smash into lead observer, she still had residual cortaxifan, and the blackout harkened back to her former powers.

I assume Walter had vanished from the final timeline we saw, where Peter received the letter.

Also 21+ year older Olivia was still smokin' hot...

The observers still visited, it's the timeline where they turned bad and invaded that was prevented. I think... The redverse stuff all preceded that.

I thought Faux's line calling out Lee for checking out younger Olivia's ass was great too.

i did admire one last time this episode how well anna torv, who i go back and forth on in terms of general skill as an actor, manages to give little, i wont say subtle but still skillful touches to the b-universe olivia to distinguish her from prime. my favorite's the fierce smile you never see on prime that b-olivia flashes constantly

How though? Walter takes the boy to the point where observers are not yet created. In effect the observers now never exist. So no September.

So there is a pivot point that requires September. Yet September doesn't exist. But there is someone that knows this. And this person has access to technology that allows him to jump through time.

All Observers are like September, so we'll just say that September existed and Walter made sure that he did all the things he had to do.

I really liked it. A very fitting end for this series.
