ok, put yourself into Han Solo's Place. You're a smuggler/rogue flying through the Star Wars Universe. You would need a partner, your own Chewie.

What Species and Gender would you want? and Why?

    Mara Jade. ie Human Female
Strong in the force, can pilot, has a lightsaber, would cook, clean and iron my clothes.
and probably gets down and dirty when called upon by the Captain to perform womanly duties.

I've got to go with a Dug for the Copilot. I have never had any interest in the Force, and LOVED the original Trilogy time period (no Jedi runnign around) a Dug, trained to pilot, fight (maybe a Teras Kasi fighter) And definately packing some blasters!

I think I would choose some meltmassif as my copilot. I would call him Melty. And he shall be my meltmassif. And I would task him with no less than fifty chores every minute of the day. I could use him to make collect calls. Make a cup of caf. Consume ne'er-do-wells that sneak aboard my ship. Control aerial volcanoes. Harness the energy output of visitors aboard my ship.

And I would never have to pay the electric bill again.

I would choose Dobido for if I ever ran into Han and Chewbacca, I would know their weakness.

Nautolan Male as Co Pilot, Human Female as Comm Officer, Cathar Male as Mechanic, R2 Unit as Navigator/Assistant Mechanic, Battle Droid (with Protocol Processor) as Financial Officer.

I would like to think that as a Pilot, I would be a bit better off financially than Han at the outset of Star Wars. Assuming they aren't in a Galactic Recession...

Now that I think about it, I'd probably want a droid crew. They're obedient, unwavering loyal, they can work at 100% capacity 24/7, they don't require food or water and you don't have to pay them a thing. Just as long as their programming is decent, not too stupid, not too smart.

I cry for my computer or my phone when they die... Not really but I do get upset. It is a connection, you know?

    Nah, it's addiction.

Not judging you for that, I'm there. I don't cry when my computer or phone goes out, but I do let out a string of obscenities long enough to stretch from one coast of North America to another.

My answer to the question would be: human male, must be hot, have a brain and a good sense of humor.

IOW, a Han Solo who would actually shut up and let me pilot.
