z4 new episode titles seem to have been released. Sabotage, The Jedi Who Knew Too Much, To Catch a Jedi and the Wrong Jedi.

I want to know why they aren't called The Tragedy of the Padawan, The Fall of the Padawan, and Revenge of the Hairless Harpy.

 

Wait, so have the Clovis episodes been bumped to season six and this will be a 20 episode season? Or can we expect them to air the Clovis arc after Sabotage, The Jedi Who Knew Too Much, To Catch a Jedi and the Wrong Jedi?

To be honest, I'd hate to see a shortened season, and to have to wait a year to see an Anakin/Padme centric arc, which I think this season needs. Not enough Anakin in season 5.

 

There is no confirmation of anything regarding the Clovis arc yet

 

Dave didn't mention it when talking about the rest of the season on the Rebel Force Radio interview, and he seemed to treat the Ahsoka arc as the finale. Only mentioned Maul followed by Ahsoka. He did note that the finale would be unlike any other finale, and I just can't see the Clovis arc fitting that description.

You can't watch much TV, as that's often not the case.

And yeah, the show is great, though I enjoy Eps. II and III also.

 

How many episodes are there in the Clovis-arc?

 

3 I think.

 

Three. Which would put the total number of episodes this season at 23, if it airs (every last season has only had 22). Also with there being no mention or footage shown from the arc in a long time, it's caused some to suspect that it will not air this season and may have been pushed back.

 

But that would also mean that with out airing something else, this season would only be 20 episodes long. Dave did mention a secret arc at CVI, and though I suspect he meant the Ahsoka arc, there still could be 2 episodes that we don't know about.

 

Someone posted a twitter statement from one of the writers assuring that the finale will be the Ahsoka arc, and Maul is what we're in now. So unless there are two secret episodes to cap off the Ahsoka arc (which would make that arc like 6 episodes) or two secret episodes that take place between Maul and Ahsoka, then it looks like a 20 episode season.

I don't know why S5 would have dropped two episodes from past seasons unless perhaps Lucas Animation increased the price per episode and CN was unwilling to pay, or maybe the show is moving to a new network for S6. I have no idea.

 

They wouldn't only make this season 20 episodes when they've done 22 for the other four would they? I hope not...

 

This shows how clearly unorganized these people are and how consideration of replacement would be an excellent idea in the future.

 

What really sucks about 20 episodes is that I bought the season pass from iTunes. I paid for 22 episodes but I'm only getting 20...

 

I would be more pissed about the quality than the quantity.

But as I said in the Eminence thread, TCW just got a lot better, so maybe all hope is not lost for this season.

 

I appreciate when the show takes left turns. As long as we get things I want to see and things I've never seen before, I'm happy. But I am annoyed about being shorted 2 episodes as they would probably charge me $5.99 for those episodes if I had bought them individually. That's just not cool of them.

 

I'm inclined to agree with Jack. I think they put in that little extra bit of effort with the Maul stuff as it's their headliner arc that's putting them on the map. Wouldn't be at all surprised if after The Lawless we regress back in mediocrity.
