Buff, NY Toy Show - Cheektowaga - Saturday March 16 - Interest Thread

What: Toy Show
When: Saturday March 16
Time: 10-4 (9am arrival and set up)
Where: Knight of Columbus - Union Road

We have been invited by Joe D to attend his toy show, at a new location. This is the same promoter who has hosted at the VFW Post in North Tonawanda in the past. Due to the larger venue, Joe expects more vendors and customers.

We can have a table area to promote, collect donations, and pose for pictures. There won't be an area for any demonstrations so this would be a basic appearance. For anyone looking to gain some event experience, test a new costume, or shake the dust off your costume before SWN, this would be a great way to do so.

R2 has been requested for this event.

Joe has asked us to let him know asap if we are available so that he can add us to his promotions. I am asking that everyone reply by Saturday January 12 with your availability so that I can get back to Joe.

I cannot give an answer until like 2 weeks before. If I'm in town I'll be there. Work is very busy so I cannot say I'll be around. The best I could offer here for this.

 

I, like Bryan, have a show in the evening, but should be able to dust off Boba for this during the day.

Victor, as this is a casual event, yes shifts will work well. If any members can only attend for specific hours, it is ok.

Time of the event has been updated to 10-4 with an arrival time of 9am to set up. we will have 2 tables available to promote the group as well as push for SWN.
