I know one thing I would not mind is Stackpole getting a chance to come back and working with the new younger wraiths.

Stackpole is Rogues, Allston is Wraiths. Allston adopted Corran as the go to Jedi, and also write Antilles, Fel and Tainer families often.

I would love to see him take a handful of these Jedi and make an awesome novel

 

It's not uncommon to get sick of something after doing it a certain number of times. Most writers seem to prefer creating new things over continuing old ones.

 

I completely agree, a plot moving forward and changing as opposed to X Wing mission after slightly different X Wing mission (not that I am complaining I am NOT) But I heard Allston pitched a few book ideas to Del Rey/LFL during a panel but I don't know what they were

i thought that was something new. Since when do Mara and a squad of stormtroopers look like deformed bobble heads?

 

Plus the HoJ is relatively new to Zahn's books

 

I like that while we have now discussed the new Shakespeare Star Wars novel, the Kemp Duology, Zahn's hopes for the Maestro Trilogy and Fry has given some new info on his books in his thread, we are no closer to what the original new novel is about.

 

Don't forget we also discussed the Battle of Hoth because, you never know, that false rumour could actually end up being the case.

Pretty disappointed with the Darth Maul novel myself. Not my kinda thing at all. Even the title on the article just sounded kina...why? to me. "The guy who put zombies in the Star Wars Universe is sending Darth Maul behind bars." Deffo gonna give that a miss.

I swear that Del Rey's creative tank has been running on nothing but fumes for that last several years.

 

If Plagueis is in it alot I might give it a read.
