I have a 65 y/o former client named Frank Rizzo... he never answers his phone anymore.

 

Hehehe, good one. Glad I'm only doing 2nd lvl support for a store chain nowadays. 1st lvl could be so ... ummm ... interesting at times, like when that one store manager called because of an activation link I had sent him by mail ...

Store manager: "Hi. Here's store No. [xxx]. You just sent me an email."
1st lvl Crow: "That's right, sir."
SM: "And you asked me to click on the enclosed link."
Crow *waiting for the man to describe his problem*: "That's right, sir."
SM: "Well, I clicked on your link. Nothing happened."
Crow: "That's strange, sir. The link should have brought you to the installation routine."
SM *sounding impatient now*: "Well, it didn't. Nothing happened. What now?"
Crow: "Okay, sir, let's try to do this together. Would you please open the mail I sent you?"
SM: "It's open, alright."
Crow: "Fine. Now please take a look at the link."
SM: "Looking at it right now."
Crow: "Okay. Now tell me, is it blue or violet?"
SM: "Umm ... what?"
Crow: "The color of the link, sir. Blue or violet?"
SM: "Blue or violet? Blue or violet? Dang it, what did you helpdesk people smoke today? IT'S BLACK! THE - STORES - DON'T - HAVE - COLOR - PRINTERS!!!"
Crow: *facepalm*

And now for something completely different: I managed to break off one of my incisors with the help of a coat hanger today. Yeah, right, I'm an amateur. A real pro would have decapitated herself.
That's been my day so far. What about yours?

My daughter was so excited to see a cement mixer and pump truck outside our house at 7:30 a.m.

 

Heavy stuff today.

44 year old single mom, three daughters, two strokes... then a 250 LB, eleven year old boy with severe diabetes, cirrhotic liver and the doctors don't know what else to do... an 89 year old from a local church brought the boy's mother in and paid for his sessions...Man, this is tuff sometimes.

I am a CES, so I get them when all else fails... just wrapped up a session with a gal who has Cerebral Palsy and in a wheelchair most of the time. Owner of our facility just asked me what I did to deserve the downpour I'm under today. I see maybe a few dozen of these intrinsic cases per year, and I've had three in less than one day.

 

This actually seems like a winning combination.
