Saga Are Light Sabers Battery Powered?

How does this instrument recharge itself? Where does it's power source come from? How come we never see them recharging them or running out of power?

I have to search for it but there was a well done scienc epage on what the blade is and what it does. It is essentially a spinning superconductor which brings into being virtual particles, literally pure energy. As it cuts through things it is literally stripping the atoms apart. It can cut through anything though denser materials will take time. What I just typed might not be what the SW lore says, I am roughly quoting a scientific explanation for what is seen onscreen.
