Gambit was a blast, Eryndil. You want to go out and buy them now (waves hand). And then go home and rethink your life :p

Heh! I was a bit put off by people saying they were "too talky and emotional" but they said that about Wild Space too. I suppose that some people prefer a straight action story. Your mind trick would be a good idea if it wasn't 4am here - I doubt that any book shops are open :p Besides, rethinking my life might lead to me spending less time reading fanfics and playing with pics of Obi-Wan, which would be terrible...

I enjoyed both halves of Gambit. Taria Damsin was a bit of an out-of-nowhere insert, which felt odd... but there is a solid plot and plenty of action. Anakin also, I thought, well portrayed in the story. yes, there is a great deal of conversation and character building. I don't think you'll mind. KM's prose is tight and pithy - I enjoy it. The character delving is half the fun, though, I think - those who complain probably simply don't like their sci-fi very introspective. There areplenty of explosions and battles to go round, and some seriously suffering Obi-Wan, always fun :)

Aaaah, The Jedi Path! That is my 'go-to' book when writing fanfics, checking details for discussions, or just for pure Jedi-adoring fun :D The descriptions of lightsaber forms alone make it worth a read. Well, if you're a lightsaber forms fangirl like me, anyway! :-B

Yeah, that book does really comes to help sometimes. My "go-to" book when I write FF is Secrets of the Jedi, The Jedi Path and sometimes The Essential Atlas when I get into trouble to find a planet where things take place. :D

I was just watching Star Wars Episode III and my favorite scene is...the line of "So unsophisticated" The best line in the movie.

It's a great line! And so Obi. He wields his saber with such grace and skill, who needs a blaster :p I quite (also) like "Spring the trap." myself, and that glint in his eye.... Woo! *drool*

"Spring the trap" a personal favorite, outdone only by "do you have a plan B?"

HI Ash!! Still mad at me? :D

I'm almost done with my next chapter (just sent to Val for beta)

Anyway, love ALL the SW scenes when he has that glint in his eyes. Drool indeed. [face_love]

I don't know about today - Val isn't around right now and who knows when she will be, but we'll see. If not, maybe tomorrow or at least during the week.

Ruth, remember during the week I told you I had my draft almost done and I thought it basically wasn't good...well it started coming together. I changed some things around and added some stuff, and suddenly it started flowing...so I'm pretty happy with it. Just waiting to see if Val has any suggestions to make it better, etc.

Can't wait for your next chapter either, Ruth...I've been looking for an update from you since yesterday...;)
