I think the age of consent should be 20 so that we wouldn't have conversations about doing teenage cartoon characters.

The fact that it's a cartoon character stands out as a little more odd for me than the alleged in universe age of said animated character.

I'm just having a little fun. A lot of fun, in fact. [face_laugh]

So anyway, what about that Maul guy? I hear he got his legs chopped off twice. Pretty weird...

    This is a disturbing conversation.

Back on topic, the glass effects were great along with the tinkering sounds of the shards falling.

I think everybody in this thread is Pre Vizsla in that image above. Look how confused he appears.

Aww... I guess it was too big.

Anyway, that glass was impressive. Was it a Force Push or a Force Repulse that Savage used?

    Something relevant... something relevant...

    Ah.

I still find it a little odd that Vizsla even accepted Maul's challenge. Maul seems to think that Vizsla won't refuse him. But I wonder if Vizsla could have. As Bo points out, Maul is an outsider. It just seems odd that any random passer by can challenge Vizsla to a duel for control of Death Watch, without being involved in the culture in any way.

What... Obi-Wan challenged Vizsla, wins, becomes the leader and then disbands Death Watch and everyone is obliged to that because he won? Even if that completely goes against the culture?

I'm wondering if Vizsla's acceptance was just out of pride. Perhaps he could have rejected Maul without forfeiting stature or being labeled a coward, since Maul was an outsider.

Because plot. But seriously I reckon pride was probably a big factor. He wanted to put down Maul and he handed him the perfect opportunity. Imagine how much more respected Pre would be if he offed Maul. No-one would dare question him.

They DID join into an alliance though, so technically Maul was brought in. I agree that Vizsla likely did think he could win though.

This has been a disturbing conversation to read, (slightly funny, lol) but not as disturbing as when I typed Ahsoka Tano into Google images...

Turning that off gets you copious amounts of Ahsoka/Barriss.

Though in seriousness, I'd actually like that pair to reappear on this show, as they were great in Season 2. I feel having a fellow Padawan would do well to reflect on how Ahsoka is doing.

The Anakin/Luminara relationship was also fantastic. Luminara's dry humour was unexpectedly funny in those eps.

Well that episode wasn't near as bad as I expected it to be. And as grim as this sounds, I'm kind of glad to see someone die. I know it's a kids show and all, but all this conflict and not really having any main or sub main person die was just pulling the show in let's repeat the same stuff over and over again.

I'd still say it is - the show still shies away from certain violent shots or concepts. For instance, when Savage throws that woman near the edge of the building, the woman does not fall off. She is pulled up by a Mandalorian guard. In a more adult show, she'd have fallen off.
