I'm wondering along with his pick, if Tunes will also give us his top ten canned meats list. Because that would be awesomely epic.

 

If I was Tunick my pick would be grilled cheese sandwich.

 

I've never eaten a grilled Tunick sandwich.

 

Of course I would. Now, to oblige Inty before I make my pick here, my favorite canned meats (not a top 10, because there aren't that many types of canned meat I've eaten):



One of my favorite snacks... before eating, I always drain the juice out of the can to make the meat a bit drier (it tastes better that way). Sometimes I'll put in a bit of mayonnaise or mustard (sometimes both) for a more tangy taste, along with a dash of cajun flavored spice/salt.






There is something so, so good about the taste of tuna, especially with a little mayo dabbed into it. Like with the canned chicken, I drain each can of its juice before eating. 90% of the time I'll eat this out of the can, but occasionally I'll make a tuna sandwich... when I do, I always toast the bread before adding the tuna.






Ok, technically a jar, but this always made for a great snack at work. Incredibly salty... tastes like mix between jerky & Buddig meat.






My favorite version of SPAM, since I'm a sucker for spicy foods, even it's cheap, tangy meat.




As for my pick here, despite half of my family lineage being Jewish & eating countless times over the years at a Jewish deli-restaurant (Brent's Deli here in the Valley), I've never eaten matzoh ball soup. Out of all the food my fraternal grandmother (may she rest on) made for us over the years, this soup wasn't one of them.

I have had Matzoh ball soup a few times. Enjoyable.

I'm pretty sure this post was simultaneously saying no to the matzoh ball soup and Nope-ing the list of Tunick's favorite meat, for which I liked it.

 

What do you eat hot and spicy Spam on/with, Tunick?
