Full Series *Official* Obi-Wan in TCW Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

I wouldn't say Maul is the only character is the saga with a motive but far as TCW goes he definitely has the clearest motives and is something the series has been needing for a long time unfortunately, a credible villain who does real damage. Its pretty clear to me how the events in season 5 is pretty much going to be another form of torture for Obi-wan and he is going to be blaming himself every step of the way for not finishing Maul on Naboo like he though. To make things even worse Obi-wan much like us OOU is probably not even sure how to defeat a guy he cut in half once and for all.

 

Poor Obi-Wan... they really do want to make him suffer but it does expand his character and we get to know him more and see that he isn't the complete stoic Jedi I think he was originally perceived to be. It makes his exile on Tatooine that much more poignant.

Which is why I'd love to see Obi-Wan actually kill Maul. Imagine Dark Side Obi-Wan.

 

I honestly hope this is something that they really delve into if Maul continues to be a threat. If Obi-Wan is going to suffer, he at least deserves to play a large part in Maul's demise, if its something that is seen in TCW.

I think you mean Maul may survive his encounter , if its true he's in more episodes this season then any other villain before him, if we were not being lied to, he should survive past that particular arc

I think he takes the "no attachment" stuff too much to the extreme.

 

I'm so sad after watched the preview and read the book again. I really hoped Obi Wan could save Satine.

Well I didn't blame him for everything. I really really wished he could save Satine.

I just hate the way he denied Anakin's help when Satine was in great danger, the situation could totally change.

 

Aw man they could have done Anakin versus Maul how dope would that be
