like i said, i don't think it's a bad pick, per se, but not as good as could have been gotten.

probably part of the problem is that he's pretty much never going to be a hall of famer, but hall of very gooder.

Does this sim take stamina and stuff into account? Will my bench guys get time at all if they don't need to?

Lenny Wilkins, 71-72. On the run all day, may change that year.

On the Bosh pick, who knows. Y'all may end up right, he may crash my whole team into a flaming pile of bad dreadlocks. I thought I was getting fairly good value for a backup center with solid stats for that year in Toronto, but I understand the criticism, Parish was a great pickup. We'll see.

I more meant Shaq is my favorite player times a zillion, but I'm from Ohio so the Bosh pick made me sad.

But yes also he's not all that.

Was actually wondering when both those guys would go. And now... This is round 11 right?

With the 86th overall pick, the Sahara Heatwave select:

    Joe Dumars (89-90)

Taking my favorite player with my final pick. Solid stat line, better than some great remaining 2s. Will have team lineup posted when I get home.

First, tom, yes - ABA seasons are in there. Gilmore's 71-72 season with the Colonels can be used.

You set a target minute for each player to play at each position. It doesn't match it exactly, and does take stamina, fouls, etc. into consideration. A player who was routinely playing 42 minutes is going to put up close to normal production playing 42 minutes. A player who was routinely playing 15 minutes per game is going to have poor production if you try to play him 40.

With this, you can also set target minutes for the same player at multiple positions. Say you have Magic, and you want him to play 30 minutes at the point, 5 minutes at the 2, and 5 minutes at the 3. That can be done. Or you have two centers you want to play together for small stretches. You can put one of those centers at the 4 for like 10 minutes.

    Hope that answers.

    Nice.

Ok, I'll open up the Free Agency period at this time. I'll let it run through the Super Bowl. During this time you can add/drop as much as you'd like. You can also do trades. By Sunday night, please post your final roster, with nickname, in this thread. In that post, please also give the year/season you want each player for. They will be locked in when free agency ends.

I plan on posting the group distributions and the first set of games either late Sunday or on Monday.
