Even though you don't play me at home, it'll probably be interesting to Runjedirun as well. So you might want to wait on your pregame post for me before then, JM in case you want to use that.

Alana Glencross + Mandalorian contingency plan = mindblowing awesomeness

 

An interesting observation this week: we had four bonus roll teams who were the home team. Three of them faced off against regular roll teams (only Ralltiir and Nar Shaddaa were bonus roll teams facing each other). Therefore, I think it's interesting to look at the outcome of these games to determine whether they brought any home field advantage to their week 2 games.

• Euceron vs. Coruscant: The Senators needed the bonus roll edge to win this week, but didn't get it.
• Ralltiir vs. Nar Shaddaa: The Starkillers made full use of their bonus roll to get a win on the road in a tough place to win while it didn't do much help for Nar Shaddaa.
• Ryloth vs. Bakura: The Miners needed the bonus roll edge to win, and got it.
• Vandelhelm vs. Mando'ade: The Mercs got the bonus roll edge when they totally didn't need it, but hey--the Jets got stomped so I think we all go home happy on this one.

So a 50/50 split among those home teams, plus Ralltiir's win on the road makes me tip the scales in saying the bonus roll was important.

Win out for the remainder of the season and you're 5-2 and you get the top seed in the Skywalker Conference for the playoffs. Trust me--this ain't over yet!

But, since we're on the topic...I seem to recall certain statements made about the outcome of this Ryloth/Bakura game some time ago...
