Sorry Masters (especially Falcon) that I haven't completed my task yet. Doing research for it and hopefully will have it posted this evening.

I've given up on lightsaber dueling. I'm a hopeless case.

I'm much too slow, and always depending on others to help me with my responses far too much, instead of thinking for myself. I guess it's just not for me.

I was (and am) willing to wait for your responses in an effort to get you more experiance. However, if you still feel uncomfortable with dueling then I am sure the Jedi have other areas where they can use you.

Going for a Consular/Healer is certainly an option. Take Cilghal for instance...one doesn't need to be a frontline Jedi to be useful ;)

Not technique, I was just being used as a living target for her to practice her own technique against.

I need to work on my own technique when one thinks about it. One thing making up the Form II/V I use, another actually using the thing...

I've never done duelling with sabres outside of video games :p I've done RPG fighting of other sorts but never sabre combat. Shouldn't be too hard for me, though.

I think Master CPL and Master Swan have a weak Jedi on their team. Lol! Skywalker_T-65 That's what I want to be; a Consular Jedi, but even Grand Master Yoda could fight with a lightsaber.

    :)

'Weak' is very relative there...strong Force abilities can more than make up for a lack of 'Saber skills. For instance, the 'Stasis' power that Danny is good at...use that, and you no longer have a need for a Saber. Being weak in one area is nothing bad...in the slightest ;)

Imo, lightsabre abilities and combat are highly overrated skills for a Jedi, though I'll admit that it depends on the era. Luke was trained that way because he already was a warrior and there was a war going on. In other times though, like with Cilghal, who is still highly respected despite not being a warrior, it wouldn't make sense to have a temple full of warriors. Even during war-times healers are needed, support staff, and many other roles that are not warriors.

    +1

I feel it is important to have trained healers in our temple. Heck, Rainbow Knight Star could be the first! :p

We've got a couple - BultarSwan and MandoBones I believe? Though since Bones is also Mando'ade he is, of course, a warrior of sorts. But a temple needs librarians, healers, researchers, cooks, and more, and while some can seem like kind of mundane skills, they are still important.

Likely my character will be somewhat of a fighter, but that's because I have RL experience in that area - if it weren't for that I'd be happy to join the ranks of the non-combatants :)

It's nice when your RL skills transfer into your writing, isn't it, Poe?

It's very useful, which is why most of my SW RPG characters have had some basis in unarmed combat. I'm no soldier but I have enough knowledge to kick some butt :p

Sorry to leave them out (Still new) :)

I was just reading this article about the Grand Master's office: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Grand_Master's_offices

Bardan_Jusik do we have Temple guards? I was wondering if there is like an elite guard that could be over the Council and GM's family...

    Just a thought....

The incoming Journeyman Knights are being converted into at least a temporary Temple Security Force. Before then it was just me. And you guys all wondered why I was so cranky all the time. :p
